# Imap/Smtp Connection -\> Exception

I added a component (Mail-\>Imap/Smtp Connection) and filled required fields. After start the process, there is an error as “Exception reading response”.

What should it be reason of failure?

The answer here is that SSL TLS settings are incorrect, so their information needs to be confirmed from the service provider.
