Variables in set methods text how should i take?

I’d like to ask a question.
There is a start-end date entry on the SAP screen. Set these variables in the set methods text
Don’t I need to get fdate ldate like this?

You can keep dates on the Decision table. Then you can write the variable in dollar curly brackets with the set method.
